FAQ

What kind of primer should I use on my Flames of War miniatures?

While opinions on which brand of primer to use can vary depending on the painter, we recommend using a spray or airbrush primer and limiting the number of coats so that you can best preserve finer detail as you paint. There are a number of brands marketed specifically toward hobbyists that are designed specifically with miniature painting in mind. As for colors, we recommend using black for the best shadow effect, but many people find success with neutral grays or colors close to the main base coat for a quick paint job. 

My starter box came with more men than I need for my teams. What do I do with the extra?

This is completely normal. Most sets come with spare infantry to account for possible defects, accidents, and mistakes made while painting, etc. Our best recommendation if you have some men to spare is to buy a few extra bases and add more to your platoon. 

What is the best way to assemble my resin and cast model kits?

Most battlefront miniatures will have an assembly guide specific to that set, which you can find on the official Flames of War website. However, some basic advice is to wash with soapy water ahead of time and let them dry before using super glue to assemble.
