We know that sometimes pre-orders get a bad rap. Release dates get pushed back, or climbing prices encourage stores to cancel and resell previous pre-orders. The team at Flipside Gaming understands the frustration, and we strive to ensure that those practices don’t happen here. Even if prices go up or demand is climbing, we do our best not to oversell stock or cancel orders. While things may happen with MTG preorders that are outside of our control, we’ll be as transparent as possible to ensure you know exactly what’s going on. FAQ

Why should I preorder instead of waiting for the official release?

MTG preorders offer you several benefits, including reserving your order in case of limited stock or sellout situations. You may also be able to snag a new release at a lower price than when it hits shelves on the official release date.

Do you get the game earlier if you preorder it?

No, pre-orders won’t guarantee early access to a game. Although we cannot give an exact shipping date, we usually start shipping our preorders a few days before pre-release so they reach our customers as close to prerelease date as we can reasonably achieve.

Can I cancel a preorder if I change my mind?

If you cancel before the official release date, we will provide a refund. You also have 30 days from the date of shipping to return any unused product that is still in its original packaging. Please reach out to our team to start the cancellation process.

Do MTG preorders sell out?

Yes, typically Collector Booster Boxes and Bundles sell out since we only have a limited number of these items we can offer for pre-sale. Generally, Play Booster Boxes and Commander Decks will be available for a longer window after their official release. Once the preorders are sold out, we don't usually restock until after the release date.
