PAX South
This past weekend, PAX South took place in San Antonion, Texas. The next event of this world renowned Convention series is happening in Boston March 10-12.
PAX also announced PAX Unplugged, a tabletop only convention taking place in Philadelphia Nov. 17th - 19th.
Grand Prix San Jose
John Asbach took down the 2,000 player Sealed-Draft Grand Prix in San Jose. Pro Tour Oath of the Gatewatch winner Jiachen Tao head lined the Top 8.
Grand Prix Prague
After 2 long grinding days of a 2,005 player Sealed- Draft Grand Prix, Hall of Famer Paulo Vitor Dama da Rosa and 43 year old entrepreneur Yusuf Kemal Vefa met in the finals. YKV emerged victorious over PVDDR to win the largest Magic tournament held in the Czech Republic.
StarCity Games Open Richmond
In the second Standard event with Aether Revolt, Invitational winner Dylan Donegan took it down with an impressive build of Jeskai Saheeli Control. The 19 year old defeated 16 year old Jeffrey Ashkin and his 4 color Saheeli Combo deck. Christopher Calhoun took down the Modern Classic with Goryo’s Vengeance Reanimater. SCG ringer Todd Stevens took down the Standard Classic with BG Delirium,

Pro Tour Aether Revolt
The best in the world will be in Dublin, Ireland to duke it out to figure out who the best is. There are a bevy of unanswered questions about the Standard Metagame that will be answered this weekend.
