Card Details
What is MTG Reality Fracture’s card selection? You can expect to see some of the most popular cards, reworked to fit Jace’s vision. However, that doesn’t mean all of your favorites are eliminated!
The Multiverse you know is still alive and well within this deck, featuring echoed pairs where one card represents the Echoverse and the other represents the Multiverse. You’ll see the same card twice, each one showing a character’s life in the separate realities. The echoed pairs will include legendary creatures and planeswalkers, along with a few surprises.
MTG Reality Fracture will also feature a variety of other special treatments, like shattered mirror, textless, and double rainbow foil cards.
What Are Shattered Mirror Cards?
Among MTG Reality Fracture’s treatments is the shattered mirror. These are the alternate-reality versions of other famous MTG cards, where you can clearly see the blending of the old and new versions. A breaking mirror exploding outwards shows the inspiration for each new card in the shattered glass, with unique art being revealed beneath.
What is MTG Reality Fracture doing with these unique treatments? Adding a unique new foil treatment! The way these cards shimmer is designed to make the broken mirror shards stand out even more. There are a total of 13 shattered mirror cards, but they’re not all created equal. You’ll find the non-foil versions in both Play and Collector Boosters, while foiled mirror cards can only be found in Collector Boosters.
What Are Echo Pairs?
As we mentioned previously, echo pair cards are two versions of the same character. One is the original, while the other showcases the warped reality version. You’ll find 30 borderless echo cards, meaning 15 complete pairs.
