Description

This picturesque valley is nestled between three hills. Here, it is always summer. Gentle warm breezes carry floral scents across grassy meadows and through the deep, dark forests untouched by the forester's axe. This is the domain of the fey, where fauns cavort with lovely nymphs in shadowy dells and korred dance among standing stones. Mortals dwelling nearby know better than to visit, for few who do are ever seen again.

According to the shepherd Forlus, his cousin Hemmet foolishly pursued a flirtatious sylph into the Briarwood Vale. The youth was lured to the valley's edge by the sylph's sweet song, where he beheld her dancing among a swirl of leaves and flowers. The sylph retreated further into the valley, and Hemmet foolishly followed; he has not been heard from in days. Forlus is desperate to see his cousin returned safely.
