Single player mode! Aces is a great addition to BattleTech: Alpha Strike

Single player mode! Aces is a great addition to BattleTech: Alpha Strike. The campaign boxes has everything you need within it to play the senarios out, as the OpFor is there in the models, terrain in card stock, and tokens for everthing else.

Recommended add ons:
Dice. 2d6s or use an optional rule and just use d12s.
The BattleTech: Alpha Strike: Commanders' Edition rule book

You own force in models. As you get to choose and customize your own force, you will need to get your own mechs. Alpha Strike Starter is a great choice for this. (It also has a quick rules)

Paints for the models. You will want to prime and paint all the minis. If you don't have your own paints already, get just the colors you need - not a kit. (For white, get ProAcryl Bold Titanium White, it's the best.) The OpFor are Jade Falcons so a good green, a white, a black, and a yellow. (Mechs do well with sponging/base coating, a dark wash, and drybrushing if you are new to that part of the hobby.)
