81mm Kranaatinheitinjoukkue, or Grenade Launcher Platoon, medium mortars provide short to medium fire support at short notice, bringing high-explosive and smoke on targets quickly and effectively.

For heavier supporting fire the Finnish infantry call on the 120mm KRH heavy mortars to provide high-explosive and smoke.
