FAQ

Can I get into Warhammer even if I’m bad at painting?

Absolutely! No one is good at painting when they first start out, and improving your skill is part of the fun of miniature painting. If diving into the artistic side of Warhammer is intimidating, there are a lot of great online tutorials to get you started. In the meantime, you can still enjoy the gaming aspect of Warhammer or get into the adventures through the books published by Black Library.

How long does it take to build and paint the miniatures?

That’s a difficult question to answer because it depends on your experience and the complexity of the miniature. Some miniatures are easier to build and paint than others, while some include a lot of finer detail and can take serious patience. Thankfully, the fun is in the process.

How do I know which sets are right for me?

Fortunately, Warhammer has a wide variety of options that can fit with just about any hobbyist. If you’re looking for more of a futuristic grim-dark adventure, then Warhammer 40000 is probably the collection for you, but if you want something more in line with traditional high fantasy, then you might try one of the Age of Sigmar or The Old World kits.
