Flipside Gaming Elite Event Series Expansion

2020 is going to be an exciting time to be a player in the Capital Region with the growth of our Elite Event series! Our plan this season raises the stakes of each event while culminating in a season end Invitational to pit the best against the best. 

The scaling of the prize structure for our elite events is the main site of change; we'll be offering larger payout with less players than in 2019. The entry fee will be increasing from $25 to $35 to accommodate this, but don't worry!  You can pre-register for a $5 discount by heading to our website and picking up a pre-registration ticket before the event and this discount does NOT affect the prize pool!

Less than 24 Players Total Prize Pool = $750 credit in prizes

24 Players = 1K credit in prizes

36 Players = 1.5K credit in prizes

48 or more Players = 2K credit in prizes

Our 6 month season will consist of 12 elite events between our two locations culminating in an Invitational tournament that will have $1K store credit in prizes PLUS the winner will be immortalized with a custom token and playmat with their likeness. The format and date for the Invitational will be announced at a later date. 

To qualify, you must earn 12 Elite points in a  season. You earn elite points by playing Elite events with the following breakdown: 

1st Place: 12 Points (Auto Invite!)

2nd: 8 Points

3rd/4th: 4 Points

5th-8th: 3 Points

9th and Beyond: 1 Point

If top finishers elect to split prizes during the Top 8 or later, elite points are also split up among each person equally. For example, a top 4 split would give each player 7 points.

Feb 15th - Legacy at East Greenbush

Feb 23rd - Pioneer at Clifton Park
